Internal Family systems and Nonviolent communication
internal family systems
Online Foundational course
-
We all have an inner world. We all have different parts of ourselves that think, feel, protect, strive, avoid, criticize, care, and long for connection. Whether we notice them or not, these inner parts influence how we relate to ourselves, others, and the world around us.
Internal Family Systems (IFS) offers a compassionate and empowering framework for understanding these different aspects of ourselves. Rather than seeing difficult emotions or behaviours as problems to fix, IFS invites us to approach all parts of ourselves with curiosity, respect, and compassion.
In this foundational course, you will join a warm community of people who share the intention of learning how to build a more trusting and compassionate relationship with themselves. No previous experience with IFS or therapeutic work is required. This course is designed specifically for beginners.
Learning style
You will be invited to explore the IFS model through examples from your own life in an interactive and safe learning environment. We will bring the theory alive through demonstrations, experiential exercises, guided practices, reflections, and learning from real situations arising in the here and now.
The way we teach is: 30% theory and 70% demonstrations, practices, and experiential learning.
Our focus is not only on understanding the IFS model intellectually, but on helping you embody it and apply it in your everyday life. You will have the opportunity to gently explore your own inner system and begin developing a relationship with your parts from a place of Self-energy: curiosity, compassion, calmness, clarity, confidence, courage, creativity, connectedness, and perspective.
Be prepared to dive in with openness and kindness toward yourself. All parts are welcome.

Make NVC become a fluid language
The Intermediate Course is designed to support you in deepening into NVC and making it become a fluid language. A language you can use in millions of everyday life situations to transform conflicts and turn misunderstandings into moments of connection and cooperation – at home, work and everywhere.
For me NVC is not a theory
I want to embody and live it: NVC is a paradigm shift, a profound change in the way I learn to think and relate to myself and others.
It’s very hard to learn NVC alone. We live in a ‘Jackal educated society’, so it makes sense that to live NVC consciousness at home and work is highly challenging and we need support. This course is designed to help us grow together as a community of Giraffes. To support each other in living, learning and embodying NVC both inside and outside of class. -
Content
We will address topics such as:
❀ The Dilemma of Honesty – Peeling the Onion toward Vulnerable Honesty
❀ Refining Empathy – Bridging Guesses, Juicing the Needs and more
❀ Liberating from Guilt – a core confusion that leads to tragic actions.
❀ Connecting Beyond (differences in) Opinions
❀ How to enjoy when people complain (even about us)
❀ The Art of Being Torn – how to make decisions that include all the many parts within us
❀ The Beauty of the Need – deepening into the core essence of NVC
❀ Celebration & Mourning as an art of living
❀ Healing Dialogues – transforming hurt and building trust.
❀ Moving from demand energy
❀ Expressing No in Giraffe (and staying alive)
❀ And more…

Nonviolent Communication (NVC) is a simple, powerful and extremely effective tool for improving our communication skills in all our relationships (including the relationship with ourselves).
It helps us see clearly what blocks our communication from being effective and it teaches us what we can do differently to communicate in a way that actually work for us: where we live the very values and intentions we try to manifest with the people and relationships we care about.
NVC is like taking my meditation cushion into real life. It is Meditation in action. NVC is a deep inner revolution goes deeply into the very way how we learn to think and act in the world.
NVC shows a path to connect through conflicts and misunderstandings and build the ground for natural flow of trust, cooperation and creativity.
It helps us heal wounds within ourselves and between us and others.
It moves us towards being the leaders we want to be and contributing in the way we desire in any given situation.
And more and more and more…Some of the topics we will address in this course
How to be radically honest without being judgmental or demanding
How to stand firmly and gracefully for your needs and assertively ask for what you want
How to connect through conflict
How to express and hear a ‘NO’
The power of Empathy to dissolve anger, pain, fear and hurt
How to hear the essence of what other people say, no matter how they express it
And more!

❤ Regarding Money
We wouldn’t want money to prevent anyone from learning NVC! We see money as a strategy to care for the sustainability of our giving. It’s important for us to have a sense of mutual contribution. ‘Receiving’ supports us in meeting our practical stability (money), as well as supports us emotionally to be in balance and keep our hearts open to more giving. While we stand firmly for our need of mutual contribution, we’re flexible about possible strategies on how to meet this need. Money is our preferred strategy, as it’s easy for us to transfer it to the exact things that contribute to us. That being said, if the amount we ask would prevent you from joining, we can offer the following:
1. If you’re coming from a country where the income/currency is lower than the prices in euros, we’re open to finding a price that makes sense and keeps hearts open.
2. If you’re currently having a challenging period financially, you can pay us at a later date when your finances are better. Sometimes people even pay us a few years later.
3. We’re open to brainstorming other ways you can contribute to us, though it’s not always easy to find things that both you would enjoy contributing and that would actually be contributing to us.Materials provided
At the end of each session you will receive:
A written summary of the session.Online: A Zoom recording of the session to view (not for download), available until 3 weeks after the course is over.
